In honor of the New Year, the staff at Ricoma International Corporation met in the heart of Doral to celebrate past achievements and inspire new growth.
In 2016, Ricoma’s staff nearly doubled in size at its Miami, Florida, headquarters. The expansion was evident as a group of 40 gathered on Friday at Bulla Gastrobar, a trendy Spanish restaurant just minutes from Ricoma’s headquarters.
From 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., Ricoma staff members – both veterans and newer hires – welcomed the New Year with music, raffles, games, cocktails and gourmet Spanish cuisine.
President and CEO Frank Ma delivered a speech at the event, congratulating every staff member for their individual contributions to the overall goal of spreading success across the globe.
“I’m very happy to see the direction we are heading,” Ma said, as he highlighted the company’s achievements in 2016. “We are heading in the right direction.”
In only 18 years, Ricoma has positioned itself as one of the world’s leading manufacturers of embroidery equipment. With that equipment, Ricoma customers have started and expanded their businesses, and have joined a network that generates success for everyone on board.
Ma promoted success during his speech, in which he thanked the staff for last year’s triumphs and encouraged each member to continue to prosper with the company.
One of 2016’s major achievements: the planning and creation of a successful rebranding campaign. On Jan. 3, Ricoma adopted a brand new look to reflect the company’s updated values.
For Ricoma, 2017 will be a time to set forth the company’s renewed mindset: Think beyond.
In his speech, Ma reiterated the company’s fresh slogan as he looked to the future.
“With our sales, marketing, service and logistics, we are going to do everything we can to improve our efficiency,” Ma said. “So let’s work together, and we’ll make this happen.”
