How to make custom embroidered patches is a common question that we receive, so on this episode we go over how to make a fabric patch that can be ironed on. There are a few ways to attach patches, but iron-on patches are one of the most common ways and it also makes for a simple process. 

What you'll need:

  • Adhesive spray
  • Water soluble stabilizer 
  • Twill or patch fabric of choice
  • Cutaway stabilizer 
  • Scissors
  • Patch design 
  • Iron-on stabilizer for patches and applique
  • Clothing iron
